Virtual Psychiatrist for Lake Nona Adults

ADHD and executive-function questions, answered from home

Lake Nona adults, and others across southeast Orlando, can see Dr. Hubsher, a board-certified psychiatrist licensed in Florida, from home. If you’ve gotten by for years on workarounds, deadlines, and last-minute effort, an evaluation can show whether ADHD, anxiety, or something else has been behind it.

When Getting By Takes Too Much Effort

An evaluation can help if:
You need elaborate systems just to stay on top of things
Deadlines and follow-through slip despite real effort
You did well in school but struggle with adult demands
Anxiety and focus problems are hard to separate

Why Childhood Still Comes Up

Because ADHD is developmental, Dr. Hubsher asks about childhood as well as current life. If you can’t recall much, a parent, a sibling, or old school paperwork can fill in the gaps. The Center has no office in Florida, so every visit is virtual.

Questions From Lake Nona

Do I need a childhood ADHD diagnosis?

No. The evaluation looks for patterns that go back to childhood, but you don’t need to have been diagnosed then.

Can a family member join my visit?

Yes, when it would help. Adults can include a family member at any age, and the front desk can explain how that works.

Can adult ADHD become noticeable only when work or family demands increase?

Yes. Some adults manage while outside structure is strong and begin to struggle when work, parenting, or other demands rise. The evaluation still looks for patterns that go back to childhood.
