Virtual Psychiatric Evaluations for Wellington

A clearer answer when mood, focus, and energy don’t add up

Wellington patients ages 5 through 65, and neighbors in Royal Palm Beach, Loxahatchee Groves, and Greenacres, can work with Dr. Hubsher from home. He is Florida-licensed, board-certified, and has practiced for more than 40 years. Depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and ADHD can look alike, and a detailed history over time is how they are told apart.

When Mood and Focus Are Hard to Tell Apart

Dr. Hubsher can help when:
Mood swings and ADHD symptoms overlap
Depression seems treated, but focus hasn’t improved
Irritability or energy changes have no clear explanation
Symptoms come and go in patterns

Looking at the Pattern Over Time

The evaluation asks how symptoms have changed over time, not just how you are on the day of the visit. Earlier records and a medication history are welcome, but you don’t need them to begin. The Center has no Florida office, so every visit is virtual.

Questions From Wellington

Can bipolar disorder be mistaken for ADHD?

They share some features, and poor concentration and impulsivity can show up in several conditions, so no single symptom settles the question.

Why does the pattern over time matter when mood and ADHD symptoms overlap?

When symptoms began, how they have changed, and whether they come and go in patterns all shape the diagnosis. A history over time shows what a single day can’t.

Do I need a diagnosis before I request an evaluation?

No. You don’t need a referral or an existing diagnosis, and many patients come in because earlier explanations didn’t fit.
