Virtual Child and Teen Psychiatry for Pinecrest Families
School-aware evaluations for ADHD, anxiety, and learning concerns, from home
Pinecrest parents, and families in nearby Coral Gables, South Miami, Kendall, and Palmetto Bay, can bring a child or teen to Dr. Hubsher without leaving the house. Dr. Hubsher has treated children, teens, and adults for more than 40 years, and he is board-certified and licensed in Florida. When report cards, teacher comments, and what you see at home point in different directions, a psychiatric evaluation helps sort out what is behind them.

Questions From Pinecrest Parents
Does my child need school testing first?
No. Earlier testing is welcome when you have it, but it isn’t required, and it doesn’t replace the psychiatric evaluation.
Will my teen be asked for their own view?
Yes. Teens are asked how they see the problem and what they’d like to change, so the plan reflects their goals as well as yours.
What if school testing found a learning issue but attention problems remain?
Learning differences and ADHD can occur together. Earlier testing is read alongside the psychiatric evaluation, not in place of it, so Dr. Hubsher can look at both.
