ACHIEVE Learning Center & Brain Development Center
ACHIEVE Learning Center is a specialized learning center for children
with (& without) learning disabilities that provides an array of
tutoring and academic evaluation and support services. We believe that
all children can learn if taught in a way that they can absorb and comprehend.
All tutors are capable special education certified teachers.
A professional staff of learning consultants, reading specialists, occupational therapists and speech & language specialists provide additional support in a wide array of academic areas. Orton Gillingham Reading specialists teach Reading in a way that utilizes all the child's senses. A daily Homework Zone provides children with an opportunity to work with specialized tutors to complete their school assignments and absorb concepts in a supportive and competent environment.
Our state-of-the-art Brain Development Center uses cutting edge cognition development software programs that have been shown by the latest research not to just compensate for limitations, but to actually 'teach' the brain to overcome learning disabilities, ADHD symptoms and other limitations of cognition, memory and language.
Specific aspects of brain function that are strengthened include:
