Education & Background

Dr. Shifrin’s path to specializing in neuropsychological evaluation reflects years of focused academic and clinical training. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clark University and went on to complete a Master of Science in Educational Psychology and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology at Northeastern University. After approximately five years working as a licensed school psychologist, he pursued his PhD in the APA Accredited Combined School Psychology and Counseling Psychology program at Florida State University.

Prior to joining the ADHD Mood & Behavior Center, Dr. Shifrin completed his APA accredited internship at the Andrus Children’s Center in Yonkers, NY, a highly regarded clinical training environment focused on children with complex needs.
