so much pressure on our teenagers and young adults to appear a certain
way, it is not surprising that unhealthy eating habits that sometimes
evolve into actual Eating Disorders, such as Bulimia, Anorexia and Binge
Eating have become almost commonplace.
Our psychiatrists evaluate the at-risk teenager or young adult, and devise an individualized treatment plan in order to begin the return to healthy nutrition, self-image and lifestyle. With the help of our specially trained nutritionists and therapists, we help them understand their disorder, we teach them how to control the healthy care of their bodies, and we teach you, their parents, how to help. Supportive, educational and therapeutic groups for adolescents, young adults and their families are also available.
